Position Summary
We require a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position focuses on cultivating robust client relationships, advocating premium offerings to clinics and hospitals, and collaborating with dental professionals to enhance sales performance within the dental supplies sector.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and project management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive operational efficiency and accountability. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline workflows, resolve complex challenges, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor financial performance, resource allocation, and risk management to sustain long-term growth and profitability. Act as a liaison between senior management and staff, communicating directives, feedback, and progress updates transparently.
We are responsible for marketing and distributing an extensive portfolio of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables to dental practices, medical centers, and healthcare institutions.
Leverage field visits, strategic referrals, and industry events to uncover and cultivate fresh business prospects.
Develop and nurture enduring professional connections with dental professionals and pivotal stakeholders to facilitate ongoing collaboration and mutual growth.
Deliver informative product demonstrations and instructional training sessions to equip clients with a comprehensive understanding of operation, advantages, and upkeep.
Track and analyze competitor actions, pricing strategies, and evolving trends within the dental supplies’ industry, ensuring timely and accurate reporting informing strategic decisions.
Partner with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee on-time deliveries and deliver outstanding client service.
Consistently surpass monthly and quarterly sales objectives to drive revenue growth and meet organizational goals.
Ensure meticulous documentation of sales activities, customer engagements, and market intelligence to uphold data integrity and inform strategic decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A minimum of five years of experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment are essential. Knowledge of database management systems and experience with cloud computing platforms are preferred. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also necessary.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales experience within the dental or medical supplies sector is essential.
A solid understanding of dental equipment and products is preferred.
Proven expertise in delivering polished presentations, conducting strategic negotiations, and cultivating strong interpersonal relationships.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required.
Capable of undertaking frequent travel throughout the designated region.
