The Role

The ideal candidate must fulfill the following responsibilities and requirements:

Oversee the management of lead consultant, contractor, and supplier relationships while ensuring strict adherence to all contract terms and conditions.

Oversee the Bank’s property portfolio with a focus on robust security measures and proactive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal functionality and asset preservation.

Establish and enforce consistent architectural standards across all bank construction projects while integrating sustainable practices, such as solar power integration and automated sensor-based lighting and HVAC systems.

Enhance data center power efficiency, specifically through measures like server virtualization, deactivating idle servers, and optimizing air-cooling systems to achieve a lower Power Usage Effectiveness (DUE) ratio.

Develop budget-conscious approaches for construction and refurbishment initiatives while maximizing cost efficiency.

Review and validate consultants’ payment certificates by cross-referencing them with comprehensive valuation reports, including both service and construction-related work assessments.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all active and finished projects, including contracts, performance bonds, and any other mandatory paperwork.

Liaise with management to facilitate consultations and meetings concerning construction and alteration projects involving consultants and contractors.

Craft strategic financial guidance regarding the construction and refurbishment of facilities to ensure optimal allocation of resources and alignment with organizational objectives.

Ensure adherence to all statutory health and safety regulations and standards.

Collaborate effectively with Marketing and Customer Service teams to refine the Branch “Look and Feel.”

Prior to processing supplier payments, conduct thorough checks, verifications, and inspections to accurately assess the value of all works completed.

Ensure facilities and premises consistently meet high standards to avert potential losses stemming from inadequate maintenance.

Oversee capital expenditure management for projects, ensuring strict adherence to agreed-upon budgets, timelines, and quality standards throughout both the design and implementation phases, as well as during supervision.

Facilitate the successful execution of both existing and newly launched initiatives to drive organizational progress and operational excellence.

Foster and uphold an environment of excellence within the department to drive high performance.

Track and evaluate internal performance metrics across all spending segments and categories to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Drive ongoing enhancements in performance and operational excellence through a commitment to continuous improvement.

Maintain full compliance with all regulatory requirements, statutory obligations, industry standards, and company-specific policies as outlined in official manuals, while ensuring alignment with pertinent external laws and regulations.

Seeking a candidate with a proven track record of relevant expertise and experience, along with the necessary qualifications to excel in the role. A degree in Civil Engineering, Building Economics, or Architecture is required.

Required are strategic thinking and robust analytical capabilities to evaluate complex business challenges and drive data-informed decision-making.
