The Banquet Kitchen must operate seamlessly on a daily basis, with close collaboration with the Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of its management.

Developing innovative concepts, designing and implementing new menus and standardized recipes, and procuring ingredients while maintaining optimal food costs and ensuring uncompromising quality, consistency, and hygiene for both products and equipment in the Banquet Kitchen.

Oversee the allocation of kitchen resources and enforce operational controls to ensure seamless departmental functionality. Additionally, lead the training and professional development of Banquet kitchen staff through personalized coaching, daily supervision, and the implementation of efficient operational standards.

Collaborate closely with the Culinary team to uphold food quality standards, ensure meticulous food preparation, maintain timely catering service delivery, and optimize operational efficiency.

Continually deliver courteous, proactive, and professional guest service while effectively collaborating with fellow team members.

Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols by properly handling, storing, preparing, and serving all food products in compliance with hotel and food safety regulations. Maintain compliance with all ENSURE standards by completing daily tasks, including recording temperature logs, labeling and dating food items, and ensuring that food storage areas are sanitized each day.

Exercise sound judgment and intuition to proactively identify and address the needs of team members, managers, colleagues, and guests. Demonstrate initiative by fostering meaningful connections with fellow employees, seeking feedback on their guest interactions, and guaranteeing exceptional guest satisfaction.

Empowered to oversee morning and evening operations, you will address feedback from external guests, the Sales department, and the Food & Beverage service team.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Minimum of three years of professional experience in software development, preferably with expertise in Python and JavaScript. Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is expected.

A minimum of three years of prior experience in a Banquet Chef role or a comparable position is required.

Earn a degree or certification in Culinary Arts through an accredited Professional Studies program, equipping you with essential skills in food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary techniques under expert instruction.
