The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the industry. Holds a valid Kenyan Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
Holds an active instrument rating and a multi-engine rating, both issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or an equivalent civil aviation authority.
With a minimum flight time of 3,000 hours, candidates must demonstrate extensive aviation experience. This requirement ensures a high level of proficiency and skill in operating aircraft safely and efficiently.
Minimum of 1,000 hours of PIC (Pilot in Command) flight time is required.
Must demonstrate willingness to work from remote bases situated beyond Kenya’s borders.
Prospective candidates should be prepared to independently finance the type rating for the ERA 135/145 aircraft.
Must maintain current flight proficiency.
Jet experience in a previous role is highly desirable.
