Offer comprehensive technical assistance for all electrical systems and equipment throughout the hospital, encompassing both planned and emergency maintenance tasks as designated.
Accurately record all electrical activities and test outcomes in compliance with established departmental procedures.
Respond to user department-generated Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) requests without delay, adhering strictly to established policies.
Ensure all Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities for electrical systems and equipment are executed punctually and in accordance with established schedules.
Act as an intermediary between user departments and maintenance teams to facilitate necessary activities, promptly escalating any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.
The role encompasses a variety of recurring tasks and obligations that require consistent attention and execution.
Coordinate and/or contribute to initiatives for special projects, including planning the acquisition and purchase of new systems or equipment, as well as drafting bid specifications and related documentation.
Collaborate with the electrical supervisor to establish and implement comprehensive Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement safety protocols and specialized in-service training programs for technicians and equipment operators, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence to device-specific guidelines.
Conduct incident investigations and analyze the performance of systems and equipment as needed.
Prepare or evaluate emergency and safety protocols pertaining to the utilization and functioning of electrical systems and equipment.
