Deliver technical assistance for hospital electrical systems and equipment as designated, encompassing both routine and emergency maintenance tasks.
Record all electrical activities and test results in accordance with established departmental protocols to ensure comprehensive documentation and compliance.
Ensure prompt responses to Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) requests submitted by user departments, strictly adhering to established policies.
Thorough and prompt execution of Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks for electrical systems and related equipment is required.
Act as a communication bridge between user departments and maintenance teams, escalating any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.
Performs recurring duties and obligations on a regular basis.
Coordinate and/or assist in the execution of special project requests, including but not limited to the acquisition and purchase planning of new systems and equipment, as well as the creation of detailed bid specifications.
Create Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the electrical supervisor.
Develop and implement safety systems and provide specialized, equipment-specific training sessions for technicians and users to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct incident investigations and evaluate system and equipment performance as needed.
Prepare, evaluate, or update emergency and safety protocols governing the use and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
Obtained a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems or an equivalent credential.
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role is required.
Proficiency in computer applications will be considered an asset.
Proficient in the technical operation and maintenance of high-voltage/low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear, and control systems, as well as diesel generators, steam boilers, laundry facilities, and kitchen equipment.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and unwavering integrity. Dependable and highly organized, with exceptional analytical capabilities to drive efficient and well-structured outcomes.
