Reporting directly to the Constituency Returning Officer, the Voter Educator will be tasked with promoting voter awareness and participation, ensuring all eligible citizens understand the electoral process. This role involves conducting outreach programs, distributing informational materials, and organizing community engagement sessions to enhance voter turnout. Additionally, the Voter Educator will collaborate with local organizations, address voter concerns, and provide accurate information regarding registration deadlines, polling locations, and identification requirements. Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to non-partisanship are essential for success in this position.
Handle incoming voter education, information, communication, and publicity materials, ensuring timely distribution to designated recipients.
Establish partnerships with state and non-state entities, including media agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Community-Based Organizations, faith-based groups, government ministries, and influential opinion leaders.
Engage with public benefit organizations that serve marginalized populations, including women, youth, individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and ethnic minorities, to establish meaningful partnerships and collaboration.

Duties include serving as the designated representative of the Reporting Officer in forums or meetings organized by external partners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and adherence to established protocols throughout engagements.
Address any inquiries or feedback provided by members of the public in a timely and professional manner, ensuring their concerns are acknowledged, evaluated, and resolved effectively.
Assist the Returning Officer (RO) in facilitating briefing sessions for accredited voter education providers, election observers, and media practitioners.
Handle and resolve incoming public inquiries related to elections, ensuring concerns are properly documented, analyzed, and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Prepare comprehensive reports on voter education initiatives, partnership development, and communications activities for submission to the RO for evaluation.
Upon finalizing the voter education initiative, prepare and submit a Constituency-based report to the Responsible Officer (RO).
Assigned responsibilities may include additional tasks as deemed necessary by the Reporting Officer, ensuring alignment with operational needs and priorities.
Wages
Constituency Voter Educators will receive a daily remuneration of KSS. 2,000.
Professional Ward-based Voter Educators will receive a daily remuneration of KSS. 1,500/-.
