The position entails a range of essential duties, including:

Each day, develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with the established curriculum, lesson plans, and educational frameworks to support and nurture the children’s social, physical, and emotional growth.

In conjunction with the lead educator, design and cultivate a classroom setting that fosters optimal learning, aligns with students’ developmental stages and interests, and ensures an orderly, purpose-driven educational environment.

Engage proactively in a range of professional development initiatives, such as daily team meetings and reflective discussions, weekly meetings focused on professional growth, one-on-one instructional coaching sessions, and organizationwide learning opportunities designed to foster continuous improvement and reflection.

Collaborate closely with the resident teacher to continuously evaluate student progress through ongoing assessments. Utilize collected assessment data to refine and adapt instructional content and teaching methodologies as needed.

Create engaging, developmentally appropriate materials and resources that foster exploration, hands-on learning, and imaginative play for children.

Provide guidance and supervision to students on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment and materials, ensuring adherence to safety protocols to minimize risks of injury and prevent damage.

Organize and facilitate a variety of engaging activities—including games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling—to foster holistic development in physical, mental, and social domains.

Prepare indoor and outdoor environments by organizing materials, classrooms, and activity spaces to support creative play, learning opportunities, and the development of motor skills while ensuring a safe setting for all participants.

Monitor each child’s developmental milestones and compile detailed progress assessments, submitting formal reports to the Principal, school leadership, and parents for review and feedback.

Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of each child’s developmental milestones and progress, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records are consistently kept.

Deliver tailored instruction to students both individually and in collaborative settings, customizing educational approaches to align with each learner’s unique needs and preferences.

Greet new students upon their arrival, assist them with removing outerwear, and guide them toward engaging activities that align with their interests to facilitate a smooth transition into the school environment.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing clear guidelines for student conduct, as well as establishing and upholding policies and procedures to foster a disciplined and orderly learning environment.

Plan and oversee educational initiatives such as class projects, field excursions, guest lectures, and hands-on learning experiences, ensuring students derive meaningful insights from each engagement.

To sustain and enhance professional expertise, participate in relevant industry meetings, educational conferences, and specialized teacher training workshops.

Provide support with the boarding and disembarking of passengers from the bus, ensuring a safe and orderly process.

ABOUT YOU

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in a closely related role. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is highly advantageous, as is prior experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Additionally, the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights is a key requirement for this position.

A degree in Education or a P1 Diploma, coupled with TSC certification, is required for this position.

You must possess at least one to three years of hands-on teaching experience to qualify for this role.

You possess strong technical proficiency with digital tools, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
