Overseeing and executing a range of critical duties, this role encompasses ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Primary tasks involve managing workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, and monitoring performance to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the position demands strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess risks, and implement strategic solutions that align with long-term objectives. Proficiency in relevant software and tools is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Perform evaluations focusing on gender dynamics, social inclusion factors, and disability considerations.

Investigate obstacles hindering engagement and propose strategies to enhance accessibility and involvement.

Integrate Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) principles, along with disability inclusion, into every aspect of project activities and operational processes.

Create comprehensive inclusion strategies, detailed action plans, and applicable tools to foster equitable environments and drive meaningful change.

Conduct instructional sessions and professional development workshops for employees and relevant stakeholders to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Assist in the creation and refinement of monitoring frameworks that prioritize gender and disability considerations.

Develop reports and provide strategic recommendations to enhance inclusive programming initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A minimum of three years of experience in software development, preferably with expertise in Java, Python, or C++ programming languages, is essential. Proficiency in database management systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, are also necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment are expected. Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders are an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.

A bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Development, Sociology, Disability Studies, Development Studies, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Requires demonstrated expertise in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) as well as disability inclusion practices.

Proven track record in executing evaluations, designing and delivering educational programs, and crafting comprehensive inclusion initiatives.

Demonstrates exceptional analytical abilities, effective stakeholder engagement, and proficient report-writing skills.

Proficiency in managing donor-funded or development initiatives represents a valuable asset for this role.
