Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, alongside expertise in database management and software design principles. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are also necessary. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is preferred. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required.

A degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or Statistics is required for this position.

We seek candidates with at least five years of hands-on experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), including a minimum of three years in a senior or leadership capacity within the field.

Proven track record in implementing non-profit or NGO initiatives within field-based environments, with a preference for experience in Kenya.

Demonstrates a strong proficiency in monitoring and evaluation, with a track record of effectively developing and enhancing data collection and measurement tools.

Provide expertise in assisting program teams with leveraging data for enhanced learning, strategic decision-making, program improvements, and comprehensive donor reporting.

Skilled in utilizing various data analysis tools, including SPSS, STATE, Excel, Power BI, or comparable software, is essential.

Proficiency in utilizing mobile data collection platforms, such as KoboToolbox, OK, Comm Care, or comparable systems, is required.

Possesses robust qualitative proficiencies, such as conducting insightful interviews, crafting compelling narratives, and discerning underlying contextual insights beyond numerical data.

Skilled in crafting clear, structured reports and articulating ideas with precision, ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization.
