Oversee and execute a broad spectrum of critical duties encompassing project management, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Execute marketing campaigns and engagement initiatives focused on healthcare professionals, institutions, and trade partners. Track campaign performance, gather market feedback, and deliver insights to drive ongoing enhancements.
Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and suppliers to guarantee the punctual production and delivery of marketing materials. Ensure adherence to cost controls, documentation compliance, and quality standards throughout all marketing initiatives.
Market research and competitive intelligence responsibilities include performing comprehensive market analyses and tracking competitor actions, pricing fluctuations, and emerging market trends. The role involves compiling and delivering strategic insights and reports designed to inform brand strategy, facilitate commercial planning, and drive sustainable business expansion.
Business Analytics involves the creation and upkeep of management reports, dashboards, and performance analyses focused on sales, campaigns, tenders, and market trends. The role is responsible for delivering precise and punctual reporting enhancing business decision-making processes.
Provide administrative and strategic support to tender and public institution engagement by organizing documentation, managing timelines, and integrating input from various departments. Maintain accurate tender records and facilitate the preparation of submissions, product dossiers, and institutional presentations.
Cross-functional collaboration is essential, involving coordination with sales, regulatory, supply chain, finance, distributors, and Head Office Marketing teams to advance critical business initiatives. Responsibilities include delivering market insights, facilitating training programs, and ensuring the effective execution of marketing and commercial objectives.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, complemented by a degree in a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment. Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is highly desirable, as is a track record of delivering measurable results in previous positions.
An MBA or equivalent management-related qualification is highly desirable.
A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
Seeking candidates with at least five years of professional experience in pharmaceutical marketing, communications, brand coordination, or commercial support.
Proficiency in pharmaceutical launches, promotional initiatives, institutional business management, or tender support is advantageous.
Proven track record of success within the pharmaceutical markets of East Africa is required.
