Job Summary

Rivet Software & Systems LTD seeks a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to strengthen our expanding team. The successful candidate will deliver onsite technical support, perform system installations and maintenance, resolve technical issues, and assist customers with our software and hardware solutions.

Oversee and execute critical operational duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accountability. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and foster innovation across teams. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve challenges, and drive sustainable growth. Lead and mentor teams to cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous development. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and implement corrective actions to optimize outcomes and meet established goals. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and operational staff, facilitating clear communication and alignment of priorities. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold ethical standards. Additionally, contribute to long-term planning by providing insights and recommendations based on market trends, competitive analysis, and internal assessments.

Deliver in-person technical assistance and resolve system issues on-site.

Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance. Responsibilities include setting up new systems, updating existing infrastructure, and troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime. Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking principles, and hardware components is required, along with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems efficiently. Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies is essential for maintaining security, stability, and efficiency across all deployed systems.

Provide clients with comprehensive assistance for system configuration and user-related troubleshooting.

Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with precision and timeliness.

Perform regular maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.

Provide user training on system operations as required.

Compose comprehensive technical reports and periodic updates to document project progress, findings, and relevant data for stakeholders and team members.

Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain clear, professional communication with clients at all times.

– The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role.
– Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential for effective collaboration and client interactions.
– Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is preferred but not mandatory.
– Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and best practices is highly desirable.
– The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines is crucial for success in this position.

A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.

Proficiency in computer systems, networking fundamentals, and software support principles is required.

Proficient communication abilities and strong interpersonal capabilities are essential for fostering effective collaboration and building professional relationships.

Proven capability to perform tasks autonomously with limited oversight, demonstrating strong self-direction and accountability in executing responsibilities.

Proven ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions efficiently. Demonstrates critical thinking in identifying challenges and implementing innovative resolutions to drive project success. Requires a methodical approach to troubleshooting and a commitment to resolving issues with precision and adaptability.

Proficiency in technical support or hands-on fieldwork would be considered beneficial.
