Position Summary
We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to bolster product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position entails cultivating robust client relationships, advocating premium offerings to clinics and hospitals, and collaborating with dental professionals to enhance sales within the dental supplies sector.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties to ensure seamless business functionality, including managing daily workflows, coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, and maintaining adherence to established protocols. Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, optimize efficiency, and implement strategic improvements where necessary. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and team members to facilitate clear communication, align objectives, and drive organizational goals forward. Develop and enforce policies that uphold compliance with industry regulations and company standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Additionally, mentor junior staff, conduct performance evaluations, and recommend training programs to enhance team capabilities and individual growth.
Drive sales of an extensive portfolio of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables across dental practices, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
Analyze and cultivate emerging business prospects by engaging in on-site assessments, leveraging professional networks, and participating in relevant trade conferences.
Foster enduring partnerships with dental professionals and critical stakeholders to ensure sustained engagement and collaboration.
Perform product demonstrations and conduct training sessions to empower clients with a comprehensive understanding of proper usage, key benefits, and essential maintenance practices.
Analyze and document competitor actions, pricing strategies, and evolving trends within the dental supplies’ industry, then prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on these findings.
Partner with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee punctual deliveries and outstanding client service.
Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals consistently.
Maintain meticulous documentation of sales activities, customer engagements, and market intelligence to ensure comprehensive and precise record-keeping.
Seeking a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in a relevant field, evidenced by at least five years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, along with specialized certifications or advanced training that enhance their expertise. Demonstrated proficiency in key technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential. Strong communication and leadership capabilities are required to collaborate effectively across teams and drive project success. Familiarity with industry best practices and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies are also critical.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales expertise within the dental or medical supplies sector is essential.
A thorough understanding of dental equipment and products is strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in delivering compelling presentations, executing successful negotiations, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
Proven ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
Demonstrates flexibility to undertake frequent travel across the designated geographic area.
