Position Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position entails cultivating robust client relationships, advocating premium offerings to clinics and hospitals, and interacting with dental professionals to enhance sales performance within the dental supplies sector.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales and cultivate client relationships by offering an extensive portfolio of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables to dental clinics, hospitals, and healthcare facilities.
Through on-site visits, networking with existing clients, and participation in industry conferences, explore and cultivate fresh business prospects.
Establish and nurture enduring partnerships with dental professionals and pivotal stakeholders to drive mutual growth and collaboration.
Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure clients gain a thorough understanding of product usage, advantages, and maintenance requirements.
Conduct ongoing analysis and documentation of competitors’ strategies, pricing structures, and key developments within the dental supplies’ industry, providing timely updates and insights as required.
Partner with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee punctual deliveries and outstanding client service.
To consistently surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets with measurable results.
Accurately document all sales activities, customer engagements, and market intelligence to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with Agile methodologies are required. The ideal applicant should demonstrate problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma from an accredited program in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
Proven sales experience of at least three years within the dental or medical supplies sector is essential.
Highly desirable is a robust understanding of dental equipment and products.
Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and build strong interpersonal relationships.
Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with a high degree of competence.
Demonstrates the ability to undertake frequent travel across the designated geographic area.
Proven expertise in strategic planning, critical analysis, and problem-solving, with a strong capacity for innovation and adaptability in dynamic environments.
