Responsible for securely transporting company merchandise and materials between the Company’s filling facilities and multiple distribution centers, as well as in the reverse direction, while ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Primary tasks include overseeing project execution, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives to drive measurable outcomes. Foster and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues across various roles, including the Container Coordinator, Loaders/Unloaders, Direct Sales Agents, and any other team members encountered in your daily responsibilities.

Ensure prompt and efficient transport of filled gas cylinders to designated container sites, while simultaneously collecting empty cylinders in strict accordance with established SOPs.

HSE policies and procedures must be strictly followed when handling company products.

Safely operate and navigate the vehicle to designated delivery destinations, ensuring full accountability for the asset throughout the journey.

Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure all vehicle systems, including brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels, are functioning optimally and meet safety standards before each journey.

Service interval schedules must be established and maintained to ensure equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimized. Technicians are required to perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. Documentation of all service activities, including dates, findings, and actions taken, is mandatory. Compliance with safety protocols and adherence to regulatory requirements are essential to uphold operational integrity and worker safety.

Maintaining a consistently clean and orderly environment is essential. This involves ensuring all areas are free from clutter, dust, and debris, as well as properly sanitizing surfaces to meet health and safety standards. Attention to detail in cleaning protocols is required to uphold a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

You will oversee the management and accountability of all essential asset accessories, including first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and tool kits.

Ensure that delivery processes are executed in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), whether through physical means or the company’s designated application system.

Ensure all statutory licenses—including ERA and NASA licenses—are valid and current before commencing any trip.

Handling insurance, conducting inspections, managing branding initiatives, and coordinating inter-county permits.

Ensure rapid processing and monitoring of inventory at designated locations in alignment with established key performance indicators.

The vehicle must be operated in strict compliance with the Kenya Traffic Act, specifically Cap 404 of the laws of Kenya.

All accidents and incidents must be reported promptly as they occur to ensure appropriate documentation and response.

Performs other duties as may be delegated by the immediate supervisor when deemed necessary.
