What you’ll do:

As the Senior Sales & Customer Manager, you will serve as the primary representative of the school to families and the broader community. Your role will be pivotal in expanding enrollments and ensuring an exceptional experience for students and parents, encompassing the following key responsibilities:

Develop and implement DISC’s student recruitment strategy across the four campuses.

Propel enrollment expansion while overseeing the admissions process in its entirety.

Develop robust prospect pipelines by fostering partnerships and conducting targeted outreach initiatives.

Contribute to fostering meaningful parent involvement and enhancing student retention efforts.

Monitor and analyze admissions metrics utilizing the CRM system, subsequently communicating key findings and strategic insights to senior management for informed decision-making.

Head the local admissions and marketing team, ensuring cohesive collaboration and efficient operations to drive strategic enrollment and promotional initiatives.

Collaborate intensively with Heads of School to align on and execute key enrollment objectives.

Deliver robust and uniform ENSO brand presence across all campuses consistently.

The preferred applicant will demonstrate a combination of relevant qualifications, professional experience, and key competencies that align with the position’s requirements and objectives. A proven track record in the specified field, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills, is essential. The role involves managing multiple responsibilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and maintaining high standards of quality. Additionally, familiarity with industry-specific tools, software, or methodologies is advantageous, as is the ability to adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.

We seek an individual who combines relevant experience with the requisite skills and strategic mindset to propel enrollment expansion, foster meaningful connections with families, and solidify DISC’s standing as a premier educational institution. The preferred applicant will possess the following qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Education Management, or a related field establishes a solid groundwork for overseeing admissions strategy and advancing institutional growth objectives.

We require a minimum of five to seven years of professional experience in Sales, Admissions, Marketing, or Customer Relationship Management. This background is crucial for spearheading enrollment growth, optimizing the admissions pipeline, and delivering an exceptional journey for prospective families—from their initial interaction through to successful enrollment.

With a strong history of driving growth and conversion management, you will play a critical role in enhancing DISC’s enrollment strategy, elevating conversion rates, and advancing the school’s long-term developmental goals.

Proven expertise in team leadership and stakeholder coordination is indispensable for driving the admissions process efficiently. This role demands seamless collaboration with academic and operational teams, along with fostering cross-departmental alignment to ensure cohesive and effective operations.

Proficiency in CRM tools and digital marketing strategies is essential to streamline inquiry management, monitor admissions data, and enhance outreach and visibility through digital channels.

Proven analytical ability and proficiency with KPIs and reporting tools are essential for evaluating performance, spotting emerging patterns, and driving data-informed decisions that enhance admissions effectiveness.

To excel in this role, strong communication and relationship-building abilities are required to effectively interact with prospective families, uphold DISC’s professional standards, and foster trust with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service, prioritizing a hands-on and proactive approach to ensure a seamless admissions experience. Essential to deliver exceptional service and promptly address the evolving needs of families throughout their enrollment journey.

Proficiency in the Kenyan Private or International School environment significantly enhances comprehension of the regional landscape, enabling strategic positioning of DISC and uncovering avenues for expansion.
