Oversee a comprehensive range of duties that include managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing workflow efficiency to enhance overall productivity. Lead and mentor a team of professionals by delegating tasks, fostering collaboration, and providing constructive feedback to support their professional development. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth, meet organizational objectives, and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and ensure alignment with company policies and long-term goals. Maintain accurate records, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to senior leadership to inform data-driven decision-making processes.

Thoroughly prepares and finalizes business and personal financial statements as well as business and individual tax returns, ensuring punctual delivery in full compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Citibank’s established policies.

Ensure accurate mapping of financial data for various credit complexities into the bank’s established matrix and analytical tools.

The position entails offering expert commentary to the Underwriter regarding critical financial details and may extend to credit structuring and loan valuation. Additional duties may include serving as an industry subject-matter expert and collaborating effectively with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers to support application evaluations.

Prepare and distribute new, renewal, and interim financial statements, as well as business and individual tax returns, adhering strictly to established bank guidelines, with particular emphasis on handling more intricate financial statements—such as those for Not-For-Profit entities.

Deliver concise evaluations grounded in insights from customers, colleagues, the portfolio, and broader industry trends.

Conduct in-depth preliminary evaluations of credits ranging from straightforward to intricate, encompassing the computation of cash flow, debt service coverage, collateral coverage, and guarantor net worth.

Collaborate closely with Credit Officers, Credit Analysts, other Credit Center personnel, and Relationship Managers to ensure seamless communication and alignment of credit-related activities.

Provide guidance and support to Credit Officers and Relationship Managers regarding the interpretation and oversight of loan agreements and their associated covenants.

Conduct comprehensive quality assurance evaluations to verify the thoroughness and precision of application packages and analyses before they are submitted to underwriting.

May function as an industry specialist, tasked with conducting comprehensive analyses of SBA and EXIT loan applications.

Professionally evaluate risk in alignment with business decisions, prioritizing the firm’s reputation and protecting Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, rules, and regulations. Uphold Policy standards, exercise sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control-related issues as required.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supplemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development or a comparable technical capacity. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management, cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure, and familiarity with DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills are also required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in dynamic technological environments.

Seeking candidates with up to two years of professional experience in a financial institution, specifically in credit analysis and utilizing spreading software.

Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial regulations, financial products, and credit analysis is required.
