The monthly salary ranges from KSS. 34,420 for 1,300 hours to Kshs. 35,720 for 1,380 hours, escalating to Kshs. 37,100 for 1,390 hours, Kshs. 38,490 for 1,460 hours, Kshs. 39,950 for 1,470 hours, Kshs. 41,420 for 1,470 hours, Kshs. 42,890 for 1,520 hours, Kshs. 44,410 for 1,710 hours, and culminating at KSS. 46,120.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, ensuring adherence to established protocols and organizational objectives. Manage day-to-day operations with precision, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all assigned tasks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless workflows and achieve key performance indicators. Address and resolve operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions and uphold productivity levels. Participate actively in strategic planning sessions to align departmental initiatives with broader company goals. Monitor progress through regular evaluations, providing actionable feedback to enhance team performance and ensure continuous improvement. Foster a culture of accountability and professionalism while supporting the organization’s mission and values.

This position serves as the initial grade within this professional framework, offering a foundational entry point for career development. The Officer in this role will operate under the mentorship and oversight of a more experienced senior officer, facilitating skill acquisition and professional growth.

Headquarters for the county is situated in a designated central location, serving as the principal administrative hub for county operations and governance.

This role encompasses a range of administrative and operational responsibilities, including managing routine office tasks, enforcing county regulations, and safeguarding government property, assets, facilities, and inventory. The position also involves coordinating infrastructure and facility maintenance, directing transportation services, and planning office accommodations. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee the acquisition and updating of office equipment and furniture, organize meetings, conferences, and special events, and supervise the general upkeep of buildings and furnishings.

Field Administration: In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring efficient execution of tasks, and maintaining high standards of service delivery across various locations. Duties include coordinating with remote teams, monitoring performance metrics, and resolving operational challenges to enhance productivity and compliance with company policies. Travel to different sites may be required, and strong organizational skills along with the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in relevant software and a valid driver’s license are also necessary.

The officer will operate under the direction and oversight of a senior officer. Key responsibilities at this level include building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, addressing public concerns and issues, tracking and assessing community projects, supporting local resource mobilization efforts, encouraging citizen engagement in development initiatives, ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety standards, fostering ethical practices and principles of good governance, analyzing and compiling data on developmental activities, and coordinating with stakeholders to organize public participation forums.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

A recognized institution must have conferred a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any related Social Science discipline.

A diploma or certification in computer applications is required.
