This full-time, on-site position for a Business Development Manager specializing in Pensions (Corporate/Retail) is based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role entails spearheading a team to uncover growth opportunities within the pensions sector, cultivating and sustaining robust client relationships, and designing strategic initiatives to expand market presence in both corporate and retail pension segments. Key responsibilities encompass crafting and delivering compelling presentations, performing detailed market research, evaluating industry trends, negotiating contractual agreements, and partnering with internal stakeholders to address client requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

With a demonstrated background in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management within the pensions or financial services sector, you bring substantial expertise to the role.

Possesses robust expertise in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning, enabling effective decision-making and insight-driven outcomes. Demonstrates proficiency in analyzing market trends, interpreting complex data sets, and developing actionable strategies to achieve organizational goals. Requires a methodical approach to dissecting information, synthesizing findings, and translating insights into strategic initiatives that drive competitive advantage.

Proven expertise in articulate communication, persuasive presentation, and strategic negotiation.

Demonstrates a solid grasp of pensions administration, financial products, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Skilled in cultivating professional connections and establishing robust network infrastructures, with a proven ability to nurture and sustain client relationships through strategic communication and interpersonal expertise.
