Proven seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Executive to spearhead the expansion of its market presence in Kenya and the broader region. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong drive for targets and a proactive approach to driving business growth.

This position encompasses lead generation, sales closure, client relationship management, proactive outreach, and corporate account expansion. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and nurturing a robust sales pipeline by pinpointing pivotal business opportunities and high-potential prospects. The primary objective is to consistently surpass established monthly and annual targets while driving revenue growth.

Oversee a diverse range of tasks including strategic planning, team leadership, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are met. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align projects with company goals, fostering a cohesive and efficient workflow. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement, mitigating risks and optimizing resource allocation. Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous professional development.

Develop and nurture a robust sales pipeline while fostering enduring connections with potential clients to drive sustained business growth.

Explore untapped markets and innovative revenue streams to drive business expansion and profitability.

Craft and execute strategic sales initiatives designed to meet established corporate sales objectives.

We engage in discussions to finalize contract proposals and sales agreements with clients and business partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms are established.

Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with current clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and retention.

Prospects are qualified and advanced through the entirety of the sales pipeline, from initial identification to final closure.

Conduct thorough research to pinpoint and engage prospective clients who align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Execute outbound calling campaigns, send targeted emails, and perform outreach via LinkedIn and other social media platforms, in addition to other prospecting initiatives.

Proactively initiate and organize meetings by leveraging strategic outreach and networking efforts.

Contribute to the preparation and submission of bids and tenders to secure new business opportunities.

Deliver compelling sales presentations and perform in-depth product demonstrations for prospective clients to effectively showcase value propositions and drive engagement.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field or comparable professional experience is required.

With a minimum of two years of experience in corporate sales, candidates should bring a proven track record of driving revenue and fostering client relationships. This role demands the ability to identify business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and meet or exceed sales targets consistently. Strong interpersonal skills and a strategic approach to market engagement are essential for success in this position.
