Facilitate the successful execution of human resource policies, plans, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Assist in projecting and organizing the talent pipeline needs to align with the function’s or business’s strategic objectives.
Contribute to the implementation of talent recruitment initiatives to foster optimal organizational capabilities.
Oversee designated projects as outlined in the annual HR operational plan while also contributing to both functional and cross-functional initiatives.
Offer expert Human Resource guidance to Heads of Departments, Managers, and Supervisors across designated Business Units, covering diverse areas such as talent management, employee development, performance management, employee relations, and change management.
Provide support for workforce programs by verifying adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreements and the Hospital’s established policies and procedures.
Compile and analyze routine statistical data pertaining to workforce needs, employee turnover rates, leave, absences, and related metrics.
Ensure leave plans are developed and implemented in coordination with Heads of Departments to maintain alignment and compliance.
Ensure the organization and accessibility of HR documents by maintaining a streamlined and efficient filing system, which includes the systematic filing of staff records and precise data management.
Monitor and file the monthly probationary report, ensuring submission to the supervisor at least one month prior to the conclusion of the probationary period.
Handle payroll administration tasks efficiently and accurately to ensure timely and compliant processing of employee compensation.
Monitor contract expiration dates and provide advance notice to the supervisor one month prior to the deadline.
Maintain accurate records of all currently employed personnel and manage the formal exit procedures for employees whose contracts will either expire or be terminated.
Facilitate the seamless onboarding and orientation of new employees, guaranteeing their comprehensive understanding of key human resource policies, including the employee handbook and code of conduct.
Verify that all employees possess current and valid professional licenses and maintain updated documentation to consistently meet regulatory standards and professional requirements.
The requirements
Education and experience requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting. At least three years of professional experience in a comparable role is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who have prior supervisory or management experience. Familiarity with industry-specific software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential qualifications for this role.
A recognized institution must confer a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any other field relevant to business.
Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation or a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management earned from an accredited institution is required.
Membership in the Institute of Human Resources Management is required.
Four years of prior experience as an HR generalist, preferably within a comparable organization, is required.
