Job Summary

Operational support will be provided for the underwriting processes, serving as the primary liaison between the underwriting team and customers to ensure seamless end-to-end service management. Maintaining a strong proficiency with all stakeholders is essential to meet work deliverables while adhering to established governance and control requirements throughout the process.

Job Description

Renewal notices, including all pertinent terms, must be dispatched precisely 60 days prior to the renewal date.

Policy documents must be issued within the designated turnaround time (TAT).

Provide the necessary documentation and details to the claims department without delay, thereby supporting their operational needs effectively.

Oversee and administer key quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

Uphold the stability and continuity of all current client relationships to secure long-term account retention.

Facilitate credit control operations by providing administrative and analytical support to ensure timely collections and accurate financial reporting, while maintaining compliance with established credit policies and procedures.

Responsible for managing the retention portfolio in alignment with overarching business objectives and strategic direction.

By evaluating potential threats and vulnerabilities, this role focuses on minimizing financial and operational losses through meticulous risk assessment, thorough data analysis, and strategic policy recommendations. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks while developing effective solutions to enhance organizational resilience and safeguard assets.

Proactively assessing potential risks within a client’s portfolio by analyzing underlying business practices, underwriting investigations, or indications of fraudulent activity is essential.

Collaborating with internal teams, we develop and execute marketing initiatives to achieve market penetration targets and drive business expansion.

Upon thorough evaluation of all relevant details, you will facilitate the decision-making process for accepting or declining new or renewal business, ensuring comprehensive review of all pertinent information.

Address customer escalations promptly and proactively to ensure timely resolution and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Leveraging partnerships with diverse distribution channels, including insurance brokers, agents, and bancassurance, to drive sustainable growth by expanding service accessibility and broadening client reach.

Meeting with clients, agents, and brokers, we collaborate to finalize coverage options, pricing structures, and service delivery terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Analyzing both group and individual renewal rates by leveraging customers’ background, industry-specific details, and demographic data.

Offering advanced support to facilitate the thorough review, categorization, and evaluation of applications.

Providing courteous and prompt assistance to customers, expertly managing difficult situations with professionalism.

Education and Experience Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology is required. Additionally, a minimum of five years of professional experience in a related role, such as software development, systems administration, or IT support, is necessary. Experience with project management and a proven track record in delivering technical solutions are also essential. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and methodologies, along with strong problem-solving skills, is highly desirable.

A bachelor’s degree in insurance, business administration, finance, or a related field is required.

Education

A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 4 qualification in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies is essential for this role.
