The Sales Engineer will spearhead project sales and business development initiatives for a diverse range of construction chemical solutions. This position centers on uncovering high-potential project opportunities, fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders, delivering expert technical support, and guaranteeing the seamless specification and implementation of products in construction projects.

The successful candidate will leverage both technical expertise and business insight to drive sales growth, enhance market penetration, and cultivate enduring client relationships within the construction industry.

Oversee the execution of core functions, ensuring adherence to organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and drive sustainable growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources and achieve key performance indicators. Monitor progress through regular evaluations and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a liaison between departments to streamline communication and resolve interdepartmental challenges.

Identify and secure new project opportunities spanning commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

Cultivate and sustain robust professional connections with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and governmental entities.

Develop and oversee product specifications throughout all project phases, including design, tendering, and implementation stages.

Deliver engaging technical presentations, conduct comprehensive product demonstrations, and offer strategic solution recommendations to stakeholders and clients.

Perform on-site evaluations and provide hands-on assistance to clients throughout the process of product application and deployment.

Proactively source and evaluate tenders and prospective project opportunities within the market to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and growth strategies.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.

Oversee the precision of CRM records, sales pipelines, and forecasting reports to ensure data integrity and reliability.

Strive to consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and objectives, ensuring sustained revenue growth and alignment with organizational goals.

Essential qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, or an equivalent discipline is required for this position.

3–5 years of demonstrated expertise in technical sales, project sales, or business development within the construction sector

Professionals with extensive expertise in construction chemicals, waterproofing solutions, flooring applications, coatings, or other relevant building materials are encouraged to apply.
