What We Are Looking For

Domain Background: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture, earned from a duly accredited Kenyan university. Proficiency in the relevant domain is regarded as essential to demonstrating strong planning capabilities.

Analytical Horsepower: Candidates will be required to complete comprehensive aptitude assessments, including abstract reasoning, numerical analysis, and critical thinking. Our demanding evaluation process reflects the elevated standards set by our international clients.

Technical Fluency: Strong expertise or proven ability in Primavera P6, MS Project, or comparable scheduling software is essential. Characterized by autonomy, intellectual integrity, and adaptability amidst uncertainty, this individual consistently delivers exceptional outcomes with minimal oversight. Our evaluation places significant emphasis on mindset as much as capability.

Submit your CV along with a concise written response (maximum 500 words) addressing the following scenario: “A client in the Middle East has requested the timely structural completion of a mixed-use commercial tower within 18 months from mobilization. However, the MEP subcontractor has advised of a four-week delay in rough-in work on levels 12 through 18, attributed to late approval of shop drawings. Additionally, the façade contractor’s schedule follows a sequential floor-by-floor progression starting from Level 10. Identify three critical-path risks stemming from this delay and outline one mitigation strategy for each, ensuring all assumptions are explicitly stated.

Qualified candidates are invited to send their CV to recruitment@excelon.co.ke, with the position clearly indicated in the email subject line.”
