About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and performance-oriented Sales Executive to drive the growth of our corporate client portfolio. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new business prospects, cultivating enduring customer relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales objectives in the stationery and office supplies industry.

This newly created sales position marks the beginning of a strategic expansion, presenting a chance to evolve alongside a growing sales team in alignment with the company’s development.

Oversee critical operational duties, including the management of daily workflows, coordination of team efforts, and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance productivity. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards while maintaining rigorous quality control measures across all projects. Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to align objectives, resolve discrepancies, and foster a cohesive working environment. Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, mentor team members, delegate tasks effectively, and cultivate a culture of accountability and professional development.

Proactively seek and establish relationships with new corporate clients, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and wholesale buyers.

Our role involves actively marketing and distributing a comprehensive range of office stationery, educational supplies, office consumables, printer toners, cartridges, and associated products to meet client needs.

Perform client site visits, deliver presentations, and execute product demonstrations as required.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with clients to foster trust and mutual growth.

Develop and present detailed quotations while pursuing potential sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Collect payments from onboarded clients promptly and efficiently.

Generate and maintain a monthly revenue target of KES 1,000,000 to ensure consistent financial growth and meet organizational objectives.

Accurately document all sales activities and customer interactions to ensure comprehensive records are maintained.

Analyze market trends and uncover innovative business opportunities to drive strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements

Prospective applicants should possess prior sales experience in the stationery, office supplies, or printing industries.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities are essential.

A proactive professional who excels in autonomous work environments and demonstrates strong self-direction.

Demonstrates strong organizational capabilities and effective time-management proficiency.

Proven capability to consistently surpass predetermined sales quotas and objectives.

Strong working knowledge of essential computer applications is required.
