Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards. Evaluates, tests, and restores aging or defective fiber network infrastructure while performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, including Optical cable, Closure kits, Ducts, and Manholes.
Develop sensor indicators and conduct thorough inspections to verify that fiber optic systems are free from faults that could compromise their operational stability.
Performs routine assessments of the designated system and rectifies any identified deficiencies.
Prepare and ensure the accuracy of system records and diagrams. Conduct fiber optic maintenance tasks such as analyzing points of breakage or link issues, performing splicing operations, aligning cores, and validating splice quality with the appropriate tools and techniques.
Principal Outputs
Ensure the fulfillment of performance key performance indicators (KPIs) through consistent execution and measurable outcomes.
Deliver consistent fiber segment availability, maintaining a minimum of 98% uptime throughout all operational periods.
Consistently meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for 80% of Technical Tickets (TTs) is required.
Ensure fiber splices achieve a quality slope of less than 0.25dB/km per segment.
