Job Summary

The Doctor Liaison Officer will proactively cultivate strong connections with physicians currently affiliated with 3rd Park Hospital, fostering an environment of robust support to enhance their service delivery and expand their professional capabilities. They will assess potential avenues for strengthening physician retention, address any communication inefficiencies, and effectively convey the hospital’s expanding range of services and advanced capabilities to the medical community.

Oversee a diverse range of core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Develop and implement comprehensive policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency, productivity, and accountability across all departments. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture by mentoring staff, promoting professional growth, and ensuring alignment with company values and objectives. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Manage cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and adherence to quality standards.

Develop and nurture robust professional connections with admitting and referring physicians to facilitate seamless collaboration and enhance patient care continuity.

Facilitate seamless patient referral procedures and enhance coordination between medical specialties to ensure efficient care transitions.

You will focus on eliminating communication barriers and enhancing physician satisfaction and retention rates to foster a more cohesive and productive healthcare environment.

Serve as the primary liaison for physicians, addressing their support needs and resolving any concerns they may present.

Facilitate communication regarding the latest advancements in hospital technologies, equipment, and services by disseminating timely updates to relevant stakeholders.

Gather input from physicians and communicate any critical issues to leadership for further action.

Collaborate effectively with insurance and finance departments to facilitate seamless pre-authorizations and payments.

Accurately document physician interactions and maintain comprehensive records within the CRM system to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.

Attend and represent the hospital at various networking events, seminars, and professional meetings, ensuring a strong and positive presence for the organization.

We seek a candidate who fulfills the following qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is essential, and familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also a must.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of four to five years of professional experience in healthcare sales, physician relations, or a comparable liaison position, you will bring valuable expertise to this role.

Accomplished professionals must demonstrate exceptional proficiency in fostering connections, maintaining productive relationships, and conveying information with clarity and precision.

Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.

Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with hospital operational frameworks are required.

Measures critical to evaluating performance (KPIs) serve as quantifiable benchmarks to assess progress toward organizational objectives.

Significant growth in the overall volume of patient referrals has been observed.

Consistently staffed medical professionals are required across all specialties to ensure uninterrupted patient care and operational efficiency. This role demands the availability of qualified physicians in each specialty to maintain high standards of clinical service and address fluctuating patient demands. Ensuring a steady supply of doctors in every specialty is essential for sustaining seamless healthcare delivery and meeting institutional healthcare objectives.

Conducts in-person meetings with healthcare providers who refer patients to ensure coordinated care and communication.

Demonstrated success in minimizing issues and complaints originating from admitting physicians.
