Job Summary
The Doctor Liaison Officer will proactively cultivate strong partnerships with physicians currently affiliated with 3rd Park Hospital, ensuring they receive the necessary support to enhance their professional scope and deliver high-quality care. By identifying opportunities to boost retention and address communication barriers, the role plays a pivotal part in promoting the hospital’s evolving capabilities and expanding its range of services to physicians.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to established protocols. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across all assigned functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and safety standards while mitigating risks proactively. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and operational excellence.
Develop and nurture robust professional connections with admitting and referring physicians to ensure seamless patient referrals and ongoing collaboration.
Facilitate seamless patient referral processes and enhance collaboration between medical specialties to ensure timely and coordinated care delivery.
Address inconsistencies in communication channels to enhance physician satisfaction and bolster long-term retention efforts.
Serve as the primary liaison for physicians’ inquiries and address their support needs and concerns promptly.
Provide timely updates regarding advancements in hospital technologies, equipment, and available services to relevant stakeholders.
Collate input from physicians and promptly elevate any pertinent concerns to senior leadership for resolution.
Collaborate seamlessly with insurance and finance departments to facilitate efficient pre-authorization processes and streamline payment procedures.
Accurately document all physician engagements within the CRM system, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records are maintained for seamless tracking and reference.
Represent the hospital at various professional gatherings, including networking events, seminars, and meetings, to enhance visibility and foster strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
A relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a closely related field is required.
With a minimum of four to five years of hands-on experience in healthcare sales, physician engagement, or a comparable liaison capacity, you will bring a proven track record of success in fostering strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth within the healthcare sector.
Effective interpersonal and communication abilities, along with adept networking and relationship-building competencies, are essential.
Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
A strong familiarity with medical terminology and hospital operational frameworks is essential.
