To expand the Bank’s custodial services portfolio for corporate and institutional clients, high-net-worth individuals, and investment groups, with the objective of driving positive contributions to the Bank’s profit and loss performance.

Develop, oversee, and execute key duties and obligations associated with the position, ensuring adherence to established standards and organizational goals.

We are seeking a dynamic professional to oversee Business, Relationship, and Sales Management, comprising 70% of the role’s responsibilities. This position demands strategic leadership in cultivating client partnerships, driving revenue growth, and optimizing sales performance. Key duties involve developing and executing business strategies, managing high-value client relationships, and leading sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Develop a robust and sustainable business pipeline, focusing on conversion across corporate and institutional clients, High Net Worth Individuals (His), and investment groups to drive growth and revenue expansion.

Provide clients with value-added services through active involvement in business growth initiatives, specifically contributing to the development and implementation of new custodial products.

Each quarter, conduct in-person or virtual meetings with all Custody Clients to ensure ongoing engagement and alignment with their needs.

Design and execute a strategic outreach plan targeting prospective clients.

Develop and enhance product visibility by organizing and participating in consistent meetings and events with both internal and external stakeholders.

Proactively identify and pursue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RBIs), and pension scheme tenders, ensuring all submissions are completed and submitted before the specified deadlines.

Identify opportunities to promote additional banking services to potential clients, thereby enhancing their financial solutions’ portfolio.

Oversee service delivery in alignment with the strategic business plan while collaborating closely with other business teams and product partners.

Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and deepen client relationships by consistently maintaining high visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.

Ensure all client requirements, communications, and inquiries are addressed within 24 hours of receipt, with an immediate acknowledgment sent the same day if the final response necessitates additional research.

Deliver prompt updates to clients regarding any market developments or asset-related concerns that may affect their interests.

Deliver prompt updates and strategic guidance to bank leadership regarding trends and advancements in the Custodial sector.

Continuously enhancing and subsequently implementing interdepartmental and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is essential to our operational success.

Overseeing operational activities constitutes 10% of the role, focusing on optimizing workflows, ensuring adherence to policies, and maintaining seamless daily operations. This responsibility involves monitoring performance metrics, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing corrective measures to enhance productivity and compliance.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the account opening process, ensuring seamless and compliant client onboarding. The ideal candidate will execute account setup procedures with precision, verify client documentation thoroughly, and maintain strict adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing applications, conducting identity verification, and addressing any discrepancies efficiently. Additionally, the role requires clear communication with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on application status. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to manage multiple accounts while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Streamline the account opening process and maintain minimal outstanding account documentation.

Assist in the seamless transfer of client assets from alternative custodians and stockbrokers for both new and existing clients.

Handles corporate actions processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution of activities such as mergers, acquisitions, stock splits, and dividend distributions. Manages data integrity and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transaction processing.

Diligently engage with clients who have not yet submitted their voluntary corporate actions instructions to ensure timely completion.

Collaborate seamlessly with officers from other Sections to uphold compliance with securities account guidelines, dematerialization protocols, and the maintenance of physical securities, while facilitating the seamless processing of transactions.

The position is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies to mitigate organizational risks. Key duties include identifying potential compliance gaps, conducting thorough risk assessments, and implementing effective control measures. The role requires a deep understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness. Prior experience in risk management or compliance within a regulated environment is a must, and professional certifications such as CRCM or CAMS are highly preferred.

The Head of Institutional Banking and Custodial Services and the Custodial Operations team receive support to uphold operational management in full adherence to applicable local regulations, jurisdictional requirements, bank risk standards, and the guidelines outlined in the custodial services’ policy.

Assist the Head of Institutional Banking and Custodial Services in overseeing Operational Risk Management and Controls for the custody service, with a focus on minimizing audit exceptions.

Monitor compliance with all regulatory obligations and deadlines, promptly escalating any operational incidents, potential operational losses, or customer complaints to the Head of Institutional Banking and Custodial Services.

Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least three years of professional experience in a related industry. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential, as is the capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with project management methodologies and prior leadership experience are advantageous but not mandatory.

A relevant academic qualification in business, such as a Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or Finance—or an equivalent credential—is required.

Seeking candidates who possess the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CSI) qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial services principles and regulatory compliance.

Professional background in relationship management, supported by structured training and development.

Professional candidates should possess a minimum of five years of banking experience, including at least three years specifically in Custodial Services.
