Craft and implement a targeted retail strategy by identifying key customer segments, product offerings, channels, and distribution methods, all while operating within the established risk parameters.

Deliver strategic leadership and governance over the branch network to enhance deposit growth, quality lending, customer acquisition, and transaction volumes.

Deliver strong financial outcomes for Retail Banking by enhancing profitability, increasing deposits and lending, and optimizing operational efficiency in alignment with established business objectives.

Consistently meet pre-established individual performance metrics while supporting the attainment of Retail Banking business goals within the parameters of the Bank’s performance management framework.

Ensure disciplined expansion of the retail lending portfolio while maintaining full accountability for its performance, with a focus on reducing non-performing loans (NPLs), enhancing recovery efforts, managing restructures, and implementing portfolio remediation strategies.

Enhance credit underwriting standards, portfolio monitoring protocols, early warning systems, and risk management controls to mitigate the reoccurrence of past asset quality challenges.

Establish and uphold rigorous performance benchmarks for Branch Managers and Retail teams, focusing on key areas such as sales, service excellence, regulatory adherence, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.

Deliver strategic initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process automation, channel migration, and cost optimization to enhance productivity while lowering the cost-to-serve.

Ensure complete adherence to CBK regulations, internal policies, audit mandates, and governance frameworks throughout the Retail Banking division.

Orchestrate the guidance, inspiration, and professional growth of Retail Banking teams by cultivating an environment characterized by excellence, responsibility, customer focus, and a strong adherence to risk management principles.

Identify opportunities for growth and collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop, price, and introduce customized products or services for retail and high-value customers, while tracking their performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Familiarity with database management systems and cloud computing platforms is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to convey technical concepts effectively. Prior experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a closely related discipline is required.

A master’s degree, such as an MBA or equivalent professional qualifications, would be beneficial.

A minimum of twelve years of professional experience in the banking sector is required, including at least five years in a senior management capacity.
