ABOUT THE ROLE

Deliver high-quality, real-world, inquiry-based Computer Studies and Physical Education lessons fully compliant with the Kenya curriculum standards.

Foster meaningful, professional connections with students, their families, and colleagues, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment.

Develop comprehensive lesson plans in collaboration with the Learning Design Team, periodically reviewing and updating existing lessons as needed or requested.

Foster a dynamic, structured educational setting that aligns with each student’s developmental stage and individual interests, ensuring an orderly and purposeful atmosphere conducive to academic growth.

Infuse students with enthusiasm and dedication for learning, cultivating an environment that sparks their curiosity and drives them toward academic excellence.

Foster an inclusive learning environment by implementing appropriate accommodations and adjustments to support the academic and cultural development of every student.

Ensure that students achieve proficiency in both the curriculum content and the established academic standards.

Incorporate dynamic technological tools into instructional sessions to elevate the effectiveness of teaching methods.

Establish and convey clear, high expectations for every student while delivering constructive feedback that fosters deep understanding and long-term retention of these objectives.

Deliver consistent rewards and consequences for student conduct while consistently modeling the expected behaviors for students to emulate at all times.

Achieve the high-performance targets established by a fast-expanding enterprise through sustained effort and dedication.

Fulfill the role of Teacher on Duty and/or Boarding Teacher on Duty while providing assistance to institution-wide initiatives focused on behavioral interventions.

The position requires prompt documentation of student academic data and clear communication of student progress to National Portfolio families and relevant stakeholders as needed.

Facilitate the development of well-rounded students by overseeing clubs, societies, and other core-curricular enrichment programs at the school.

Act as a homeroom teacher when assigned to the role, ensuring attentive oversight and consistent engagement with assigned students.

ABOUT YOU

Required qualifications and skills include a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software is essential, as is a strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

To qualify, candidates must possess TSC certification alongside a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Education, specifically in the teaching disciplines of Computer Studies or Physical Education (P.E.).

Requires a minimum of three years of hands-on teaching experience.
