Job Purpose

Facilitating students’ success and fostering academic excellence to unlock their full potential, this role involves delivering the SABIS curriculum and upholding its educational philosophy through the systematic application of the SABIS teaching methodology.

Oversee daily operations, ensuring all processes align with organizational objectives and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and productivity. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, proposing data-driven solutions to enhance operational effectiveness. Lead project teams, assigning tasks and deadlines while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating risks through proactive monitoring and corrective actions. Serve as a liaison between senior management and staff, facilitating clear communication and alignment on key priorities. Evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition to motivate high achievement.

Utilizing the SABIS point system, instruct students using the designated lesson plans, which may also involve creating such plans when necessary, based on the provided pacing charts for their respective subjects.

Exam papers must be graded in strict accordance with the department’s established schedule and provided curriculum materials.

Engaging in collaborative consultations regarding disciplinary matters and student performance concerns with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and the Head of Department (HOD) as circumstances require.

The implementation of the SABIS point system is essential to fostering a learning-conducive environment within the classroom setting. This initiative ensures that students are motivated and engaged while maintaining a structured and productive atmosphere that supports academic achievement.

Offer timely assistance by supervising examinations in a secure and well-organized testing environment whenever required.

The role involves offering assistance to students who are struggling academically, fostering their growth and motivation to unlock their full capabilities.

Develop or adhere to external exam preparation by reviewing past papers as outlined in the structured revision schedule, where applicable to the specific grade.

The position involves supporting various responsibilities, such as administering child assessments, stepping in for absent educators, coordinating student lunches and bus schedules, managing traffic flow for both vehicles and pedestrians, and fulfilling any additional administrative tasks as directed by the school’s SABIS management team.

Developing and engaging in activity plans for student life initiatives—including, but not limited to, art, open house, and physical education events—in close collaboration with the student life coordinator.

Upon request from school management, employees are expected to participate in training sessions aimed at deepening their comprehension of the SABIS system, thereby fostering improved performance.

Additionally, employees may be assigned other relevant tasks or projects as needed, with direction and delegation from the school’s SABIS management team.

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential. Prior leadership or project management experience is highly desirable, as is familiarity with current trends and best practices in the field. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.

Proficient French speakers are required for this role, as fluency in the language is essential for effective communication and task execution. Candidates must possess a high level of proficiency, ensuring seamless interaction in spoken and written French. This requirement is critical to meeting the responsibilities and expectations associated with the position.

A PGCE Certification or an MA in Education is essential for this role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required for this position. Candidates must demonstrate advanced skills in these applications to effectively manage documentation, data analysis, and presentations. Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Teams and SharePoint is also expected to facilitate seamless teamwork and file sharing.

The incumbent must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions. They should adeptly convey complex information in an accessible manner to diverse audiences, including colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
