Deliver outstanding, practical, and inquiry-based Computer Studies and Physical Education lessons, meticulously aligned with Kenya’s curriculum standards.
Foster professional, constructive, and positive relationships with students, their families, and colleagues.
Design instructional materials and collaborate with the Learning Design Team to evaluate and revise lesson plans as needed, based on evolving requirements or preferences.
Foster an educational setting that supports learning, aligns with students’ developmental stages and interests, and upholds structure and concentration throughout the classroom.
Infuse each lesson with enthusiasm and dedication to foster a genuine love of learning, motivating students to pursue academic excellence with curiosity and excitement.
Facilitate tailored accommodations and adjustments to support the academic and cultural development and success of every student.
Ensure that students achieve proficiency in both content knowledge and academic standards.
Employ interactive technology solutions to augment lesson delivery, thereby enriching instructional effectiveness and student engagement.
Establish and convey challenging yet attainable objectives for every student, ensuring they understand and embrace these targets through meaningful and constructive feedback.
Maintain consistent reinforcement—whether through rewards or consequences—for student conduct while exemplifying the expected behavior for students to observe and emulate.
Achieve the ambitious objectives set by a high-growth organization with consistency and determination.
Fulfill the role of on-duty teacher and/or boarding teacher, providing supervision and leadership while assisting in school-wide initiatives focused on behavioral interventions and student support.
Collect and promptly document student academic data, and communicate student progress to National Program families and other stakeholders as needed.
Foster the development of well-rounded students by providing assistance to clubs, societies, and other core-curricular enrichment programs at the school.
Act as a homeroom teacher whenever assigned to fulfill this responsibility.
ABOUT YOU
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Proven experience in a similar role is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in relevant software and tools is mandatory, and excellent communication skills are highly valued. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capacity to work under pressure are critical. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards is advantageous. Additionally, demonstrated leadership or teamwork capabilities will strengthen your application.
TSC certification, along with a pertinent Bachelor’s degree in Education specialized in Computer Studies or Physical Education, is required.
Requires a minimum of three years of hands-on teaching experience.
