Oversee critical operational duties encompassing strategic planning, process optimization, and cross-functional team leadership to drive organizational efficiency. Implement and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate progress toward established goals, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives. Collaborate with senior management to allocate resources effectively, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and mitigate potential risks. Foster a culture of accountability through clear delegation, performance tracking, and continuous feedback mechanisms. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while identifying opportunities for innovation and scalable solutions. Ensure seamless communication across departments to enhance collaboration and achieve unified strategic outcomes.
Teaching involves delivering lessons strictly in accordance with the provided lesson plans, or alternatively, creating such plans when required, guided by the pacing charts provided. This ensures instruction aligns with the structured SABIS point system.
Exams pertaining to their designated subject must be graded in strict adherence to the department’s predefined schedule and provided materials.
Facilitate collaborative consultations with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department to address disciplinary matters and student performance concerns as necessary.
Develop and apply the SABIS point system to cultivate a productive and supportive learning atmosphere within the classroom.
Delivering professional supervision of exams as required, ensuring a secure and well-organized testing environment at all times.
Offering assistance to students struggling academically, we aim to enhance their performance and inspire them to realize their full capabilities.
Devise and adhere to structured revision plans for external exam preparation, including systematic review of past papers where relevant to the specific grade level.
Assisting with various tasks, such as conducting testing sessions for children, stepping in as a substitute teacher when necessary, coordinating student movements for lunches and bus departures, managing traffic flow for both vehicles and pedestrians, as well as fulfilling any additional administrative responsibilities delegated by the SABIS school management.
Developing and engaging in activity plans for all student life-related events—such as art, open house, and physical education—in collaboration with the student life coordinator.
In addition to their regular duties, employees are expected to attend mandatory training sessions as requested by school management, enabling them to deepen their comprehension of the SABIS system and ultimately elevate their professional performance.
Assisting with any additional duties or projects deemed necessary by the school’s SABIS management, as assigned, is also part of the role.
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as are exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, and familiarity with current trends in the field is highly desirable. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A relevant bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
Proficient in English, with native-level fluency required for certain subjects.
A PGCE certification or an MA in Education is required for this position.
Microsoft Office proficiency is required, encompassing essential components such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
