Provides anesthesia services for all emergency and elective procedures performed in the operating room, encompassing both minor and major surgical interventions.
Provide support to the ward team in the care of critically ill patients as needed, including those requiring immediate resuscitation and endotracheal intubation.
Join our emergency trauma team, where you will respond to critical incidents, including mass casualty events, as part of your vital role in patient care and crisis management.
Ensure timely procurement of all necessary medication equipment and supplies for anesthesia to maintain operational readiness.
Maintain the anesthesia machine and operating table in optimal working condition, promptly identifying and reporting any faults, repair requirements, or maintenance needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, preferably using Python, Java, or C++. Strong proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is essential, as is experience with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure. Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within tight deadlines. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is also mandatory.
A Higher Diploma in Clinical Officer Anesthesia from a Medical Training College (MTC) or an equivalent, accredited medical training institution, is required for this position.
Registered with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
A minimum of two years of professional experience within a high-volume hospital environment is required.
