Role summary
We seek a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to enhance our team’s capabilities. The ideal candidate will oversee the processing and examination of intricate datasets, construct statistical models, derive meaningful insights, and facilitate informed, data-backed decision-making throughout the organization.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably with expertise in specific programming languages or frameworks. Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions are essential. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, and ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and testing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in mentoring junior developers and driving innovation within the team.
A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, or an equivalent field is required. Candidates holding a master’s degree will be given preference during the selection process.
Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience in data analytics, statistical modelling, survey research and reporting.
Experienced in designing survey samples, implementing weighting methodologies, and conducting quantitative research analysis.
Requires in-depth expertise with statistical and analytical tools, including SPSS, STATE, R, Python, and advanced MS Excel.
Proficiency in creating data visualizations and leveraging business intelligence tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and PowerPoint (PPT), is required.
Proven expertise in research methodologies, questionnaire design, and data quality assurance processes is required.
Proven ability to manage extensive, intricate datasets and derive meaningful, actionable insights from them.
Proven capability in analysis, problem resolution, and logical evaluation.
Exceptional proficiency in verbal and written communication, delivering clear and concise presentations, as well as producing detailed and insightful reports is essential.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
