About the Role
Our client is in search of a proactive, outcome-focused Sales Executive to drive the growth of its corporate client base. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new business prospects, cultivating enduring customer relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the stationery and office supplies industry.
In this role, you will be the inaugural sales team member within a strategic expansion initiative, with the potential to assume leadership responsibilities as the company’s sales force grows and evolves.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties that encompass strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Deliver consistent results by managing project timelines, allocating resources efficiently, and fostering collaboration across departments. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards while maintaining high levels of accountability and performance. Lead initiatives that enhance productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support professional growth and development. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and implement corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed established objectives.
Proactively source and secure new corporate clients, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and wholesale buyers to expand the customer base.
We are responsible for driving sales and promoting a comprehensive range of office stationery, educational supplies, office consumables, printer toners, and compatible cartridges, along with related products.
Facilitate in-person meetings, deliver compelling presentations, and perform product demonstrations as required.
Cultivate enduring, mutually beneficial partnerships with clients to ensure sustained engagement and satisfaction.
Develop and submit precise quotations while actively pursuing potential sales prospects to drive revenue growth.
Timely collection of payments from onboarded clients must be ensured consistently.
Generate monthly revenue of KES 1,000,000 by consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Ensure meticulous documentation of all sales activities and customer engagements to uphold precise records.
Analyze evolving market dynamics to uncover emerging business prospects and capitalize on strategic openings for growth and expansion.
Requirements
