Our client, a prominent telecommunications company, is seeking to hire a Trade Development Representative to join their team.

The objective of this position is to drive organizational success by fulfilling key responsibilities and requirements essential to the role. Primary duties include managing core tasks and contributing to the overall mission through effective execution of assigned functions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in specified skills and qualifications, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the organization. To prioritize field visits aimed at enhancing retailer awareness and improving SIM and Float performance, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising standards at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Oversee and execute critical responsibilities to ensure operational excellence and team success. Lead key initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and drive process improvements to meet organizational goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives, resolve challenges, and foster a high-performing work environment. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and implement strategic solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while maintaining a focus on quality and accountability. Serve as a mentor and coach for team members, supporting their professional development and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Proficiently oversee the identification, recruitment, and strategic mapping of Agents, with a focused emphasis on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail establishments.

Regularly conduct visits to SOS and Agents in accordance with established route plans (beat plans) to achieve call rate targets.

Providing essential business tools constitutes a key responsibility, which involves equipping both SOS and Trash Agents with the necessary resources to facilitate seamless transactions at SSO and agent outlets. This role further encompasses conducting comprehensive training sessions to ensure these personnel are thoroughly versed in all operational processes and procedures.

AML training and testing encompasses instructing agents in anti-money laundering (AML) protocols and supervisory staff in Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, specifically in connection with the SIM REG framework.

Float and inventory oversight, along with sales management, involve diligently tracking and maintaining stock levels to ensure seamless operations. It is essential to rigorously apply the 1.5x stock rule for agents while confirming that Single Sales Officers (SOS) possess sufficient stock SIMs to facilitate new registrations and activations without disruption.

Develop and uphold merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SSO and Agent outlets.
