Job Summary
This leadership position plays a critical role in advancing the company’s strategic objectives at the branch level by crafting and executing comprehensive business strategies aimed at enhancing revenue performance, profitability, market share, and client acquisition. Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the full scope of branch operations to ensure seamless functionality and sustained growth.
The position encompasses a comprehensive range of duties, responsibilities, and key roles designed to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment within the organization. Primary accountabilities include overseeing daily workflows, managing project timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve departmental objectives. Additionally, the role requires the execution of strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and maintaining rigorous compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in relevant software tools, adaptability to evolving business needs, and a commitment to continuous improvement are also critical requirements for success in this role.
Developing and executing strategies to drive product growth and expand market reach constitutes 70% of this role. The position requires actively pursuing new business opportunities through direct sales efforts, including in-person visits, targeted email campaigns, and telemarketing initiatives.
Attend Board of Trustees (BOT) meetings and facilitate open forums to strengthen client engagement. Additionally, identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell supplementary products to current clients.
Strategic Planning (10%): Perform comprehensive SWOT analyses for each branch and develop and execute departmental strategies to sustain a competitive edge in the market.
Coordinate daily office functions, uphold operational infrastructure, and optimize resource utilization to support administrative efficiency.
Demonstrate exceptional leadership by conducting thorough performance evaluations for branch staff, ensuring adherence to key performance indicators, overseeing leave management procedures, and proactively identifying and addressing training requirements to enhance team capabilities.
Risk & Compliance (5%): The role involves proactively identifying, assessing, and addressing operational risks, ensuring that all potential exposures are mitigated effectively. Regular updates and detailed reports on risk status must be provided to the line manager to support informed decision-making and maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, complemented by a proven track record of at least three years in a similar role. Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential for success in this position. Industry Knowledge: Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in the pension and insurance sectors, retirement benefit schemes, or investment accounting practices. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing CRM software and the MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
