The primary responsibility of this position is to provide independent, impartial consultation that contributes significantly to the overall improvement in banking operation processes, efficiency and profitability through meticulous observation.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out several crucial tasks that contribute to the success of our organization. These responsibilities include overseeing key projects and ensuring their timely completion, collaborating with colleagues across different departments to achieve shared goals, and maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, you will be expected to analyze data and make informed decisions based on your findings, as well as develop and implement new strategies that drive growth and innovation within the company.
Contribute to the formulation of the organization’s annual auditing strategy.
Conduct audits adhering to established auditing standards to verify conformity with corporate policies, legal regulations, and optimal operational practices.
Monitor performance metrics and identify areas requiring improvement in order to optimize processes, minimize expenses, and enhance overall effectiveness.
Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive audit plans and execute risk-focused audits across various operational functions and processes.
Propose methodologies for implementing effective internal monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Engage with external audit committees in the timely pursuit of following up on the implementation of their specified recommendations, taking all required measures and executing assigned tasks to ensure compliance and successful outcomes.
Perform investigative audits in accordance with requests from BAC and Management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create, implement, and maintain the organization’s internal audit procedures.
Collaborate in the preparation of financial statements, investigations, and comments.
Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of accounting, financial, and operational controls to ensure their suitability and proper implementation.
Conduct thorough evaluations in adherence to established banking guidelines, regulatory mandates, and optimal business practices.
As instructed, execute tasks assigned by management and BAC on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Economics.
The candidate should possess a professional certification in accounting (CPA), auditing (ARCA), or information systems assurance (CISA).
Proficient in both verbal and written communication with exceptional ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Skilled in creating compelling reports that are accurate, well-organized, and effectively present data and insights for analysis and decision-making purposes.
Familiarity with information technology audit practices would be a valuable asset.
The candidate must possess at least three years of professional experience within the financial sector.

Possess a strong aptitude for both qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to make accurate judgments, along with an extensive understanding of appropriate sampling methodologies.
Proficient in detail-oriented work and possessing strong organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory, including proficient usage of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and internet navigation along with email management.
The successful candidate must possess the ability to traverse the company’s national or international branches with ease and efficiency.
Demonstrating honesty and maintaining a strong sense of ethical conduct are imperative qualities for this role.
Remuneration
