Job Summary
Our client, a prominent investment company specializing in collaborative investments through real estate, securities, and private equity, is currently seeking an accomplished Financial Controller. The appointed individual will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations while adhering to regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy of financial reports, and providing strategic insights that inform decision-making at the Board level.
As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining various software applications. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role may involve working independently or as part of a team, depending on the needs of the project. In addition to technical skills, you should have strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Compile and deliver precise financial statements and executive summaries to the Board of Directors in a timely manner.
Supervise financial operations including budgetary allocation, predictive analytics, strategic funding projection, and control of fiscal resources.
Maintain adherence to legal, governmental, and fiscal guidelines in all aspects of operations.
Oversight financial procedures, manage risks, and implement internal audits to maintain effective systems of control within an organization.
Evaluate the financial performance of diverse investment holdings, including real estate, marketable securities, and private equity assets, by leveraging sophisticated analytical techniques to derive insightful recommendations.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal departments and external auditing entities such as auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
Expedite the prompt completion and filing of tax returns as well as statutory reductions to adhere to deadlines.
Oversee the management of the finance department by directing its members in order to optimize financial processes and achieve operational efficiency.
Offer expert advice on financial matters to drive organizational expansion and inform capital allocation choices.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a relevant field is highly valued for this role.
Possession of a CPA (K) credential or an equivalent professional accreditation is required for this position.
The candidate must possess active membership in IC PAK with an impeccable status.
At least 5โ10 years of pertinent expertise is required within the field of finance and accountancy.
Previous expertise in the fields of real estate investments, marketable securities, or private equity is strongly desired.
A comprehensive understanding of financial reporting guidelines, fiscal regulations, and investment bookkeeping is imperative for this role.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
