You will serve as an Application Engineer, tasked with delivering a broad scope of technical responsibilities, including the design, development, implementation, and optimization of application systems to meet specified business requirements. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions, as well as providing expert-level technical support to resolve complex issues and enhance system performance. Additionally, you will evaluate emerging technologies, recommend upgrades, and document processes to maintain high standards of efficiency, security, and scalability across all deployed applications.
Ensuring adherence to the Manage the Job Cycle (MTC) process requirements is a critical responsibility of this role.
Collaborating closely with the designated Service Delivery Coordinator or Salesperson to gain a clear understanding of the client’s objectives for well construction or production.
Design and implement comprehensive well profiles alongside executing applications engineering responsibilities, such as developing risk mitigation and contingency strategies. Ensure all plans align with client objectives, optimize revenue potential, and secure future project opportunities for Baker Hughes.
Responsibilities include addressing and resolving field incidents pertaining to products and services.
Conducting Incident Investigations as needed, overseeing the complete process from start to finish.
Offering specialized sales assistance and expert guidance on product applications to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and informed decision-making.
Undertaking specialized initiatives and ad hoc assignments as necessary fulfills an integral component of this role.
To excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required for this position.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in well planning or applications engineering, specifically within drilling services.
Proficient in both spoken and written English at an advanced level.
Possesses the flexibility to undertake travel duties, which may include visits to rig locations, client premises, professional engagements, and training sessions.
Demonstrates flexibility to be available beyond standard business hours for on-call duties when necessary.
Proven ability to effectively build relationships, influence stakeholders, and develop strategic plans.
