Compiling and evaluating existing data regarding the factors, mechanisms, and routes contributing to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Tunisia is essential.

Prepare a comprehensive work plan for the consultancy initiative, incorporating a detailed engagement strategy to effectively connect with and involve key stakeholders throughout the process.

Perform a comprehensive field survey to assess potential contamination by resistant germs, including but not limited to slaughterhouse wastewater, swimming pool water, wastewater from healthcare facilities, river water adjacent to livestock farms, water from high-traffic beaches, gardening runoff, poultry manure, ruminant manure, fish farming water, and aquaponics breeding water.

Gather and synthesize up-to-date information regarding the contamination and characterization of diverse environmental compartments by antimicrobial-resistant microorganisms.

Investigate the origins and dissemination of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) within environmental contexts while systematically assessing high-risk sectors.

Provide specialized technical guidance and recommendations to support the development and implementation of national antimicrobial resistance (AMR) management strategies.

A comprehensive diagnostic report that assesses the current environmental antimicrobial resistance (AMR) situation in Tunisia, identifying critical risks, addressing existing knowledge deficiencies, and proposing strategic recommendations for targeted interventions.

Identify knowledge and data deficiencies, then craft operational or research initiatives to resolve these gaps. These should be documented into a structured, executable roadmap for submission to the government post-workshop.

Crafting and delivering clear, impactful messages to ensure the effective distribution of compiled knowledge to designated audiences.

Engage in the national workshop by showcasing pertinent research findings and study results.

Facilitate meaningful discussions and exchanges throughout the workshop to contribute to the knowledge and gap analysis process.

Seeking a professional with a strong academic background in a relevant field, complemented by exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrates proficiency in data interpretation, statistical analysis, and the application of advanced software tools.
