Job Description

Oversee daily dairy farm operations, which encompass herd health management, breeding programs, feeding schedules, milking procedures, pasture maintenance, and general farm upkeep.

Craft and execute production strategies aimed at optimizing milk output, maintaining high standards of quality, and enhancing overall profitability.

Oversee farm personnel to maintain optimal productivity and enforce workplace discipline.

Maintain precise farm records, oversee budgets, manage inventory, track production statistics, and prepare financial reports.

Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements pertaining to animal health, biosecurity protocols, environmental protection, and workplace safety standards.

Manage procurement and efficient utilization of farm inputs, equipment, and resources.

Collaborate effectively with veterinarians, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.

Evaluate and integrate emerging innovations and industry-leading practices within dairy farming operations to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The Milk Value Addition role encompasses a range of critical responsibilities centered on enhancing the quality, marketability, and nutritional value of dairy products. This position requires a deep understanding of processing techniques, quality control measures, and innovative strategies to improve product offerings. Spearhead the development and administration of milk value-addition projects.

Responsible for managing the production workflow of dairy items including yogurt, fermented milk, cream, butter, ghee, cheese, and other commercially viable products.

Oversee adherence to stringent quality assurance and food safety protocols throughout dairy processing operations.

Develop market linkages and strategies to maximize revenue from value-added dairy products.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills are required to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
