Job Description

Finance professionals are tasked with receiving, recording, tracking, and developing internal controls to protect designated funds—donated in accordance with sacred principles—intended for the Church’s religious objectives, under the guidance of senior ecclesiastical leadership. This role represents an entry-level accounting position where the individual applies foundational accounting principles to specialized financial records and reports, while supporting the ongoing maintenance of a precise and comprehensive general ledger and generating essential financial documentation.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks to ensure operational excellence, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high standards of quality. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity and efficiency across departments, while fostering a collaborative work environment. Monitor progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Serve as a liaison between leadership and staff, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational goals. A strong proficiency in computer applications is essential, with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Oracle or People Soft systems would be considered a valuable asset.
