Oversee assigned functions by executing key responsibilities with precision and accountability. Maintain a high standard of performance through continuous evaluation and improvement of workflows.

Install, configure, commission, and maintain microwave radios, LTE/GSM equipment, and additional telecom infrastructure at tower and rooftop sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Perform comprehensive Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and thorough site quality inspections to validate the installation of new equipment and infrastructure.

Conduct routine and remedial maintenance on telecommunications infrastructure to sustain optimal network availability and service standards.

Execute diagnostics and replace defective radio, transmission, and power equipment in tower and rooftop installations.

Support network optimization initiatives by conducting drive tests, performing signal analysis, diagnosing faults, and implementing performance improvement measures.

Maintain and ensure the operational integrity of electrical power systems, such as rectifiers, batteries, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution systems, grounding networks, and site electrical protection systems.

Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations at the site to verify adherence to electrical engineering standards and safety protocols.

Perform routine inspections and upkeep of tower and rooftop infrastructure, with a focus on rust mitigation, earthing system integrity verification, and structural integrity assessments.

Perform comprehensive site evaluations, technical analyses, and feasibility evaluations to support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancements.

Collaborate on the execution of network enhancement initiatives, modernization endeavors, and the integration of emerging technologies to drive operational improvements.

Compile and submit maintenance reports, incident records, acceptance documentation, and operational logs with precision and punctuality.

Provide ongoing supervision, technical guidance, mentorship, and task delegation to the reporting technician to uphold operational efficiency and adherence to established standards in field activities.

Minimum qualifications include proficiency in essential skills and core competencies. Candidates must possess the necessary expertise and capabilities to fulfill the role effectively.

A degree or diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline is required.

Requires a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance.

Proficiency in installing, commissioning, and maintaining microwave radio systems, as well as LTE and GSM equipment, supported by practical experience.

Vendor certifications pertinent to the role will be considered an asset.

A fundamental grasp of electrical engineering concepts, including AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding techniques, and electrical safety protocols, is required.

Fall Arrest Certification must remain valid throughout the duration of employment, with a minimum of one year remaining before expiration.

Seeking candidates with valid certifications or specialized training in Radio Frequency (RF) Awareness, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, as well as adherence to Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DISH) regulations.

Physically and medically capable of performing tasks at elevated heights and in field environments.
