Collection Africa is now recruiting a proactive and technically adept IT Manager to spearhead our IT operations. This position entails overseeing the entire IT function, guaranteeing robust, secure, and high-performing systems while blending strategic direction with practical systems’ administration. Key responsibilities include advancing digital transformation initiatives, supervising cybersecurity measures, administering enterprise-level infrastructure, and enhancing our core PRSP/SMS and VoIP/SIP communication platforms to accommodate organizational expansion.
Core Resposibilities
Develops and executes comprehensive IT strategies while overseeing infrastructure management to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, fostering technological innovation, efficiency, and seamless operations. Oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, systems, and cloud services, to support business continuity and scalability. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify technology needs, assess risks, and drive digital transformation initiatives. Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while optimizing IT investments for maximum value and performance. Leads cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance productivity, security, and agility.
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will manage servers, network devices, and cloud services while troubleshooting technical issues and implementing system upgrades. Responsibilities include monitoring system health, configuring user access controls, and deploying software updates. Additionally, they will collaborate with IT teams to support business operations, document system configurations, and adhere to industry best practices for cybersecurity. Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments, scripting, and virtualization technologies is required, along with strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management professionals are tasked with safeguarding digital assets, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. They develop and implement robust security strategies, conduct thorough risk assessments, and monitor security systems to detect and respond to threats. Additionally, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote security awareness, enforce policies, and address vulnerabilities. Strong analytical skills, expertise in security frameworks, and familiarity with threat intelligence are essential for this role.
The role involves overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of communication systems to ensure seamless connectivity and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing network infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with vendors for hardware and software upgrades. Requirements entail a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or a related field, alongside expertise in VoIP, SIP trunking, and network protocols such as TCP/IP. Proficiency in system administration, cybersecurity best practices, and project management is also essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
Experience in leadership, a strong focus on innovation, and expertise in Digital Transformation and AI Requirements are essential for this role.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Minimum seven years of IT management expertise acquired within a fast-paced and evolving professional setting is required.
Proven expertise in systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure is essential.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, GCSE, ITIL, CISSP, CISA, and Security+ are highly beneficial.
Proficiency in PRSP/SMS and VoIP/SIP systems is strongly preferred.
