As a Manager in Deloitte’s Risk, Regulatory, and Forensics practice, you will spearhead enterprise risk and financial crime initiatives, collaborating with senior managers, directors, and partners to deliver strategic, insight-driven solutions to clients. This role encompasses enterprise risk assessments and transformation projects, alongside financial crime advisory engagements. You will oversee the full engagement lifecycle—from initial scoping and planning through delivery, reporting, team leadership, and project management—ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

What you will do

Lead, develop, encourage and motivate engagement teams to deliver high-quality client service, build capability through effective delegation, coaching and feedback, and foster a collaborative, accountable culture aligned to Deloitte’s Values.

Foster trusted client relationships while ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery that reflects client priorities, maintains Deloitte’s professional standards, and generates insight-driven value.

Ensure comprehensive oversight of engagement and client acceptance processes, maintaining adherence to established protocols and standards throughout all stages.

Oversee the complete delivery process of enterprise risk and financial crime engagements, guaranteeing punctual, high-quality results, seamless stakeholder engagement, and robust support and supervision for team members.

Provide strategic guidance to clients on mitigating and minimizing risks associated with financial crime, encompassing areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols, fraud detection, and anti-corruption measures.

Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with pivotal client stakeholders to convey value propositions, discern critical business objectives, and strategically align the firm’s comprehensive suite of services.

Assist the Partner or Associate Director by actively identifying, pursuing, and converting potential new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the organization’s client base.

Proactively expand your expertise in risk management and financial crime by monitoring regulatory developments, emerging industry standards, and best practices while engaging with pertinent professional networks and forums.

Analyze and articulate emerging trends, market shifts, and pivotal performance indicators for current and prospective clients, leveraging a deep comprehension of industry-specific forces and macroeconomic conditions.

Drive strategic initiatives that elevate the firm’s standing in financial crime and enterprise risk, positioning it as a prominent voice and leading authority within the industry.

Collaborate on strategic business development efforts to broaden the financial crime and enterprise risk portfolio, fostering expansion and enhancing the market presence of these solutions.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with experience with databases and API integrations. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and version control systems like Git is also required. The ideal applicant should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

A professional qualification in a relevant field is mandatory, with an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification serving as a beneficial additional credential.

Seeking candidates with six to eight years of pertinent professional experience, preferably within a Big Four firm, financial institution, or telecommunications sector, and with demonstrated familiarity in anti-money laundering (AML) and enterprise risk management practices.

We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates proficiency in a range of specialized technical competencies, including but not limited to software development, system administration, data analysis, or network security. The ideal applicant will possess hands-on experience with relevant programming languages, tools, and platforms, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently. Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity best practices, and agile methodologies is highly preferred, as is a solid understanding of database management and IT infrastructure. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving technologies are essential for success in this role.
