The Director-General will serve as the Authority’s chief executive officer, reporting to the Board and overseeing the daily operations and administrative functions of the organization.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities integral to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. The Authority fulfills its obligations under the VET Act CAP 210A, ensuring complete adherence to its designated mandate.
Acts as the intermediary between the Board and management, ensuring consistent updates to the Board regarding all critical technical, financial, strategic, administrative, and other pertinent matters concerning the Authority.
Formulate and present to the Board, the Authority’s strategic plans, operational roadmaps, and yearly financial allocations for approval.
Serves as an ex officio member and secretary to the Board, ensuring the execution and communication of its strategies, decisions, and policies.
Develop and execute robust financial management policies to ensure optimal fiscal performance.

Held a Director-level position, either in the public or private sector, for at least three years.
A bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (VET) is required.
