What You’ll Do
Execute consumer marketing initiatives throughout East Africa, while concurrently providing assistance for culturally tailored campaigns across other Sub-Saharan African markets.
Partner with diverse teams spanning marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative to develop and implement campaigns seamlessly from strategic planning to execution.
Leverage both platform-based and external data sources to analyze audience patterns, uncover market potential, and pinpoint key growth factors, thereby shaping strategic marketing initiatives with data-driven precision.
Craft comprehensive creative and media briefs in partnership with both internal stakeholders and external agency collaborators.
Spearhead strategic initiatives focused on acquiring, engaging, and retaining both Free and Premium audiences to maximize growth and long-term value.
Forge strategic alliances with local collaborators—including influencers, agencies, and cultural hubs—to amplify brand visibility and consumer preference.
Analyze campaign effectiveness and derive actionable insights to inform future initiatives and strategic market planning.
Tailor global marketing strategies to align seamlessly with local consumer preferences and market dynamics, ensuring relevance and impact across varied demographic segments and regional conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to customize campaigns while maintaining consistent brand messaging and achieving overarching business objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams and regional partners to champion local music and cultural marketing initiatives.
Who You Are
With a proven track record of at least four years in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management across East Africa, you possess the expertise required for this role.
You possess a proven track record of successfully operating across diverse markets in Sub-Saharan Africa or executing regional campaigns within the region.
You possess a strong background in brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media, and/or project management, with demonstrated expertise in these areas.
You have successfully executed high-impact digital campaigns across dynamic industries such as FMCG, retail, entertainment, technology, or digital enterprises.
You possess the ability to convert consumer and cultural insights into impactful marketing strategies and campaigns.
You possess a strong aptitude for analyzing data and performance metrics to assess success and enhance marketing efficiency.
Skilled at juggling various priorities without compromising precision or the caliber of your work, you ensure meticulous attention to detail and consistently high standards in execution.
